Our submission session is always open. We are always happy to read your work.

OVERWATCH PRESS is a non-profit literary journal. Currently we are an online only magazine but we hope to expand to print in the future. We aim to bring a voice and understanding to those in the armed forces: their lives, their families, their joys, heartaches.

We publish original short-fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, memoir, and original art work in the form of photography or still-art. We aim to publish pieces that reflect the soldier’s, veterans’, and their family’s unique perspective and place in the world.

Additionally, we will also consider…

  • Recipes on how to make MRE field rations taste better.
  • Advice from military spouses on how to stay busy while loved ones are away.
  • Advice from child advocates on how to help children adjust to the constant moves associated with military life.
  • Full-length manuscripts.

We do not consider previously published work.
